Lolo found lurking in Mandaluyong with ₱ 1.5 Million
Lolo found lurking in Mandaluyong with ₱ 1.5 Million – Around 6:45 AM when this was reported via DZMM Teleradyo that really got my attention. Not because of the huge amount that was recovered but the mere fact that it was recovered at all. Living in the Philippines you should know by now that a simple touchscreen phone or a ₱ 500.00 withdrawal on the ATM will definitely attract a robber. So how the hell does a 91 year old lolo can be found at on a busy street in a rush hour with ₱ 1.5 Million it just doesn’t make sense. Now let’s go to the details first.

Here’s the full details of the news
Around 5:30PM at while doing their daily routine Police and Barangay tanods of the said place found a commotion at Barangay Barangka Ilaya, Mandaluyong City. When they got near the of the crowd they saw in the middle of it a 91 year old Lolo found lurking in Mandaluyong with ₱ 1.5 Million. Some of the money was being held by hand while others are found in lolo’s pocket. Immediately they invited the said Lolo to the Barangay Hall to secure the money and to know more details about the incident.
It was later on revealed that on the ₱ 1.5 Million found ₱ 1.3 Million of it was in Dollar currency while only P 276,000 were in Peso. During the questioning our Lolo here explained that the reason why he got that amount was to bet in a cockfight but later on Police realized the story isn’t adding up so they came up to a conclusion that the 91 year old Lolo might be sick with Alzheimer’s disease.
Good thing that along with our Lolo is a licence and a Senior Citizen’s ID giving our Police an opportunity to contact one of the daughter. The daughter came to fetch our Lolo but on the she isn’t even recognized. However considering the obvious condition of the old man and the proper verification from the Daughter who fetched him Police have no reason not to turn over our bigtime Lolo.
The said daughter asked authorities to hide the identity of our Lolo.
